Chair

Kevin Jeffery is an Associate Landscape Designer currently practicing in Juneau Alaska. He joined the architecture firm MRV Architects in 2019 and quickly proved himself as a thoughtful designer within the MRV Design Team. Kevin is now taking major roles in MRV design and planning projects. Prior to MRV, Kevin had an extensive career in water management and planning in two capital regions, the District of Columbia and Austin Texas. He has worked for responsible development in the private, nonprofit, and government sectors. Seeing many unsustainable projects from a management perspective led Kevin to shift his career to the design side of projects. Kevin enjoys bringing thoughtful ideas to projects, with a focus on sustainability, community resiliency, and inclusiveness. Kevin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Masters in Landscape Architecture, where he specialized in innovative urban design technologies. His work focused on the healing powers of the natural environment, which gained him the inaugural Emerging Leader River Hero award from the River Network as well as the Olmsted Scholar distinctions in 2019. For Kevin, creating stronger bonds between communities and their natural resources has always been a passion both personally and professionally.
